Laureato Absolute Crystal Rock Chronograph

Only 100 of these were ever made. Released in October 2020, the Laureato Absolute Crystal Rock is built from a material Girard-Perregaux calls Carbon Glass: layers of carbon fibre and fibreglass fused together under high heat and pressure into a single solid block, then milled into the case. The bonding process leaves the internal layers randomly aligned, so the uneven, marbled strata visible on the bezel and case flanks is never quite the same from one watch to the next, making every example of this limited run genuinely one of a kind. Despite the imposing 44mm chronograph proportions, the finished case weighs just 94 grams.

This example carries its caseback sticker still intact, itself a marker of how little wear it has seen, and the caseback is stamped with its "Limited Edition of 100" designation directly beneath the Laureato Absolute lettering. The black dial's sunken chronograph counters and date window sit under the same Carbon Glass bezel, on a black rubber strap with contrasting grey rubber inserts, and it comes as a full set with its original presentation box and hang tag.

44mm Carbon Glass case powered by the Girard-Perregaux manufacture Calibre GP03300-1058, a self-winding chronograph built from 419 components and 63 jewels, featuring a column-wheel chronograph with hours, minutes and small seconds counters, a date display, a minimum 46-hour power reserve, and 50m water resistance.
