About This Watch
Glashütte Original's Senator collection is rooted in clear, classically proportioned watchmaking, and this reference brings two of the manufacture's signatures into one beautifully balanced dial. The Panorama Date at four o'clock is matched by a silver moon-phase display at ten, giving the watch a distinctly Saxon character while preserving the restraint of the Senator line.
The galvanic blue sunray dial shifts from navy to a brighter metallic blue as it catches the light, framed by applied white-gold indexes and polished hands. Rated 9/10, the watch is presented on a black leather strap with a signed Glashütte Original pin buckle. The strap shows light creasing from wear, and the watch is offered on its own without box or papers.
A 42mm polished and satin-brushed stainless steel case is powered by the manufacture Calibre 36-04 automatic movement, complete with a silicon balance spring and a 100-hour power reserve. Its finishing is visible through the sapphire caseback, while the moon phase is engineered to run for 122 years without requiring correction. Water resistance is rated to 50m.
