About This Watch
James Bond opened SPECTRE wearing this watch: the blue teak Aqua Terra Master Co-Axial, on Daniel Craig's wrist through the Mexico City sequence and the Thames chase in the 2015 film, in its steel-bracelet sister reference of the same 41.5mm case and dial. Beyond the screen credit, this generation carries a genuine horological first, as the movement inside was among Omega's earliest to resist magnetic fields beyond 15,000 gauss, achieved not by hiding the calibre in a soft-iron cage but by building it from non-magnetic materials, which is exactly why the exhibition caseback could stay.
The sun-brushed lacquered blue dial carries the teak pattern in fine vertical pinstripes, laid like yacht deck planking and shifting from near-navy to bright marine blue in the light, with Master Co-Axial Chronometer printed at 6 o'clock and a framed date at 3. There is a party trick in the crown too: the hour hand jumps independently in one-hour steps without stopping the movement, so you land in a new time zone, click the hour forward, and never lose a second. This example is fitted with a genuine Omega blue rubber strap with a woven-texture centre for a sportier wear, and comes as a full set.
41.5mm stainless steel case powered by the Omega Master Co-Axial Calibre 8500, a COSC-certified automatic movement with twin barrels, silicon balance spring, 60 hours of power reserve, a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides, an exhibition caseback, and 150m water resistance.
