About This Watch
The Black Bay has always been Tudor's love letter to its own past, and no version says it louder than this one: a gilt-toned dial and a burgundy bezel insert, the same colour cues that marked Tudor's original 1954 Oyster Prince Submariner. This is the current, third-generation case, slimmed down and de-bulked from earlier Black Bays so the vintage look reads through modern proportions rather than a slab of steel, and behind that familiar face sits genuinely new engineering: a METAS-certified Master Chronometer movement, tested and stamped for precision, waterproofness, power reserve, and resistance to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss.
The black domed dial carries gilt hour markers and hands against the deep burgundy of the anodised aluminium bezel insert, both lit by the same warm-toned lume, on the five-link Jubilee bracelet with Tudor's "T-fit" micro-adjustable clasp — the dressier, more premium bracelet option Tudor offers on this reference over the standard three-link.
41mm stainless steel case powered by the Manufacture Calibre MT5602-U, a COSC- and METAS-certified self-winding movement with a bidirectional rotor system, featuring a 60-minute unidirectional bezel, a domed sapphire crystal, a screw-down crown with the Tudor rose in relief, approximately 70 hours of power reserve, and 200m water resistance.
