About This Watch
Tudor introduced the Black Bay GMT at Baselworld in 2018, the brand's first true "flyer" GMT and the watch collectors nicknamed the "Poor Man's Pepsi", it arrived the same year a steel Rolex GMT-Master II Pepsi was nearly impossible to actually buy, and gave the same red-and-blue bezel and jump-hour GMT function on an in-house movement at a fraction of the wait. The Manufacture Calibre MT5652 inside lets the local hour hand jump forward or back in one-hour increments independent of the minute and GMT hands, the same "flyer" logic as the vintage Rolex GMTs it nods to.
This example wears the black domed dial with Tudor's signature snowflake hands and applied luminous markers, under the bidirectional 48-click bezel in matt burgundy and blue, with the red-tipped 24-hour GMT hand and a date window at 3 o'clock. It's fitted to a dark brown leather strap with a steel pin buckle signed Tudor, and comes as a full set with and still under Tudor international warranty until August 2029.
41mm stainless steel case powered by the automatic Manufacture Calibre MT5652, a COSC-certified chronometer movement with a true flyer-GMT function, approximately 70 hours of power reserve, a domed sapphire crystal, and 200m water resistance.
